Group Management
Decision Maker
Load in the choices your group cannot agree on and let a random spin make the call.
Group chats stall on the same question every time: where are we going first. The Decision Maker settles it in about two seconds. It comes loaded with the four districts Fort Worth groups argue about most, West 7th, Sundance Square, Magnolia Ave, and the Stockyards, and you can swap in anything else, from which house hosts pickup to who controls the playlist for the first hour.

How to use the decision maker
- 1
Trim or replace the defaults
Keep the four Fort Worth districts if that is the debate, or clear them and add your own options. Two is the minimum to spin.
- 2
Keep options the same kind of thing
Spin for one decision at a time: first stop, dinner spot, or pickup house. Mixing a restaurant with a neighborhood produces a confusing winner.
- 3
Tap Pick One
The button reads Spinning while it cycles through your list, then shows the winner. The button is disabled with fewer than two options or while a spin is running.
- 4
Put the winner on the plan
Add the result to your Timeline Builder or Bar Crawl Planner so the random pick becomes a time-stamped stop with minutes attached.
Twelve coworkers from Mansfield and one stubborn group chat
A team of 12 from Mansfield is planning a Thursday night out after a product launch and has been debating the first stop for three days. The organizer opens the Decision Maker, deletes Sundance Square because two people have a work dinner there Friday, adds Clearfork, and spins with West 7th, Magnolia Ave, Stockyards, and Clearfork loaded. It lands on Magnolia Ave. They run it again for dinner between three Magnolia restaurants, drop the winner into the Bar Crawl Planner as a 75-minute first stop, and book a 3-hour weeknight block on a limo sprinter, since Sunday through Thursday dates qualify for the 3-hour minimum on select vehicles.
Why this matters for a Fort Worth group
Add an option by typing it and pressing Enter or Add. Remove one with the small X on its pill. When you have at least two options, the Pick One button lights up. Spinning cycles rapidly through your options for a moment and then lands on a winner, shown in large type under the heading The winner is. Spin again if the group demands a best of three.
There is a reason the Stockyards is on the default list. It is the most-mentioned destination in Fort Worth itineraries, about 7.7% of all trip notes, just ahead of Dallas. West 7th (76107) is where most bar crawls make their first stop. If the spinner lands on something, you can trust the stop has been done a thousand times, and your driver knows where to park.
Spin for the pickup house in a spread-out group
Groups from Mansfield, Arlington, and Grand Prairie all sit 25 minutes from Fort Worth, so arguing about whose house is central is pointless. Spin once, then note that each extra pickup address adds 10 to 15 minutes.
Use it to pick a dinner stop, not whether to eat
Food is not permitted on the vehicle, so the meal is a stop no matter what. Spin between a Magnolia Avenue patio, Exchange Avenue steak, and tacos near West 7th, then give the winner 60 to 90 minutes.
Keep the pole question off the spinner
On vehicles that have one, the dance pole can usually be removed or covered with balloons on request, but it has to be arranged when you book so the right vehicle is assigned. That is a phone call, not a spin.
