Bachelor and Bachelorette Party Bus Planning in Fort Worth: Sizes, Hours, Routes, and Rules

Bachelor and bachelorette parties together make up about 14% of Fort Worth requests, second only to birthdays. They are also smaller than most people assume: the median bachelor party is 12 guests and 70% are 14 or fewer; the median bachelorette party is 12 and 73% are 14 or fewer. Only 3 to 4% of either group exceeds 25.

Sprinter or party bus?

For a group of 8 to 14, the decision is between a limo sprinter and a 16- or 18-passenger party bus.

• Limo sprinter: perimeter leather seating, mood lighting, sound, ice and water on board, and a footprint that parks easily on West 7th. The best-value choice when the group is 14 or fewer and plans to spend most of the night inside bars rather than on the bus.
• Party bus: a dance-floor area, more headroom, and room to stand and move between stops. The upgrade when the ride is part of the party or the group might grow.

If the count is within two seats of a vehicle's capacity, book the next size up. Vehicles cannot be loaded past capacity and swapping later is hard.

When these parties happen

Bachelor parties peak in April and bachelorette parties in March, both riding early wedding season. Ninety percent of bachelor parties and 91% of bachelorette parties fall on a Friday or Saturday, but bachelor parties spread more toward Friday (only 57% on Saturday versus 66% for bachelorettes). Both are requested about seven weeks ahead (a median of 48 and 50 days).

One planning trap: every Saturday in March, April, and May carries a 6-hour minimum because those are prom dates. If the party is on a spring Saturday, budget for six hours; if it is on a Friday, the standard 4-hour minimum applies.

How many hours

Four hours covers a dinner stop and two or three bars across two Fort Worth districts. Add time when:

• You are picking up at three or more addresses (add 30 to 45 minutes).
• Dallas is on the itinerary (add 35 to 50 minutes each way; plan six hours).
• The night starts with a Stockyards rodeo or a Rangers game.

About half of booked Fort Worth trips run longer than the 4-hour minimum. A 30-minute buffer at the end is cheaper than overtime, which starts 15 minutes past the scheduled end and is only possible if the vehicle is free.

Two proven 4-hour routes

West 7th to Stockyards (bachelor favorite). Hotel or home pickup at 6 PM, a downtown dinner stop, two bars around one West 7th drop-off point, then Exchange Avenue in the Stockyards, the most-mentioned destination in Fort Worth itineraries. Drop-offs by 10 PM.

Magnolia to Sundance to West 7th (bachelorette favorite). Pickup at 5 PM, a sit-down dinner near Sundance Square, a cocktail stop on Magnolia Avenue, then a rooftop bar and dance floor on West 7th. Split drop-offs by 9 PM.

Grapevine's wine trail is a third option for a daytime bachelorette: three tastings and a dinner stop run 4 to 5 hours from a Fort Worth pickup, and a Sunday afternoon can qualify for the 3-hour minimum on select vehicles.

The rules

• Drinks: guests 21 and older may bring their own. We do not sell alcohol or hold a liquor license. Plastic cups are recommended, glass is discouraged, and coolers with extra ice are encouraged. The vehicle carries ice and bottled water.
• Food: not permitted on the vehicle. The driver will stop for dinner or late-night tacos; that stop is included.
• Decorations: balloons, streamers, sashes, and signs are welcome. No glitter (a $350 cleanup fee) and no adhesives.
• Smoking: not allowed on the vehicle. Smoke stops are unlimited.
• Cleanup: toss bottles and cups in the onboard cans. Vomit or spills carry a $250 sanitation fee per occurrence.
• Photographers: welcome on board.

What is included and how booking works

The quote covers the vehicle, driver, fuel, taxes, and gratuity, so nobody is collecting a tip at 1 AM. A 50% deposit and signed contract hold the date, the balance is due 7 to 14 days out, and events booked within 7 days are paid in full. The person signing must be 21 or older.
