Allowed
- Balloons. Latex or foil, tied to grab rails and seat frames or floating in the cabin. Balloons are also the approved way to cover a dance pole for family events.
- Streamers. Draped, not taped.
- Posters and signs. A birthday banner in the window, a "Bride" sign on the seat, a "Just Married" board propped behind the bar.
- Sashes, tiaras, and props. Anything worn or held.
- Photographers, videographers, and filming. Welcome on board as long as nothing is damaged.
Not allowed
- Glitter of any kind. It embeds in leather seams and carpet and never fully comes out. A $350 cleanup fee applies.
- Confetti and confetti poppers. Same problem as glitter.
- Tape, stickers, adhesive hooks, and command strips. Anything that can damage paint or finishes.
- Candles, sparklers, or anything with a flame. Carpet or seat burns are $100 each.
- Silly string, spray snow, or aerosol decorations. They stain.
What the fees look like
The contract is specific so there are no surprises: $350 for glitter cleanup, $250 per occurrence for vomit, spills, excessive trash, or food, $100 for each carpet or seat burn, and $250 for damage to or opening of the emergency roof exit. Guests are expected to handle basic trash cleanup before the last drop-off; the vehicle carries trash cans and usually extra bags.
Decorating by event
Birthdays. Number balloons, a window banner, and a sash for the guest of honor. Half of Fort Worth birthday groups are 14 or fewer, so a 16-passenger bus leaves plenty of rail space for balloons.
Bachelorette parties. A bride sash, a balloon arch across the back bench, and a photo backdrop board that leans rather than sticks. If the vehicle has a dance pole, ask about covering it with balloons.
Prom and homecoming. School-color balloons and a photo sign. Remember the separate rules for teen events: no alcohol on board unless a parent or guardian is present, and no large backpacks without one.
Quinceañeras and sweet 16s. Floral garlands draped over rails, balloons, and a name banner. Ask for a no-pole vehicle or have the pole covered.
Weddings. A hanging "Just Married" sign, white balloons, and plastic champagne flutes for guests 21 and older.
Holiday parties. Battery-powered string lights and balloons. Skip tinsel that sheds.
When to decorate
Most groups decorate at the first pickup while the driver loads coolers. Budget 10 minutes; it counts toward your booked hours. Some groups have one person board first to set up so the guest of honor walks into a finished cabin.
Related rules
