Event Countdown
A live days-hours-minutes-seconds timer that doubles as a reminder of what should already be done.
A countdown is motivating, but in Fort Worth it is also a planning instrument. The median group requests a quote 28 days before the event, only 17% start three or more months out, and 16% are inside the final week, when the whole quote is due at signing and prime Saturday vehicles are rarely open. Seeing the real number of days left reframes what counts as early. Fifty days out feels relaxed until you remember that bachelor parties average 48.

How to use the event countdown
- 1
Type an event name
Replace the default with something specific, such as the honoree's name and the occasion. It appears above the timer on every refresh.
- 2
Choose the date
Use the date picker. The countdown targets 6 PM local time on that day, so a 3 PM quinceañera pickup will arrive a few hours before the timer reaches zero.
- 3
Watch the days figure
Compare it to the typical lead time for your event: 82 days for weddings, about 7 weeks for bachelor and bachelorette parties, 32 for prom, 23 for birthdays.
- 4
Work backward from zero
At 14 days, pay the balance. At 7, send the final headcount and the first pickup address. At 1, buy ice and charge your phone.
A quinceañera in Saginaw, 45 days out
A family near Eagle Mountain Lake (76179) names the countdown for their daughter's September celebration and selects the Saturday. The timer reads 45 days. That is later than the family expected given how Saturday-heavy the event is, so they send the quote request that evening for a 20-passenger party bus without a dance pole, covering 18 people in the court of honor plus parents. They sign and pay the deposit the next day with 44 showing. At 14 days they pay the balance, at 7 they confirm the 3:30 PM pickup for the church, photos at the Fort Worth Water Gardens, and the reception hall, and the timer hits zero while the group is still taking pictures.
Why this matters for a Fort Worth group
Name the event, pick the date, and the timer begins ticking in days, hours, minutes, and seconds toward 6 PM on that day, the hour closest to the most common Fort Worth pickup (5 PM, with 42% of pickups between 5 and 7 PM). The label at the top is yours to edit, so a shared screenshot in the group chat reads as the party rather than a generic timer. Once the date passes, the display settles at zero.
Pair the days figure with a few milestones: deposit and signed contract as soon as the headcount is firm, balance due 7 to 14 days out, final count and pickup address to us a week ahead, and ice and drinks bought the day before. The timer keeps those deadlines honest, and it is easier to argue with a number on a screen than with a vague sense that there is still plenty of time.
Prom countdowns start in March
Prom groups request quotes a median of 32 days out, and 85% of proms fall in April or May. If the timer shows fewer than 40 days to a spring Saturday, a parent 21 or older should sign the contract now.
December dates need an early November clock
Two thirds of December demand lands between the 8th and the 24th, and holiday planners give themselves only about 24 days. A countdown that starts in early November is the difference between a first-choice vehicle and whatever is left.
Quinceañeras cluster on Saturdays in September
September is the most requested month for quinceañera transportation and 84% land on a Saturday. Set the countdown the day the church confirms, and plan a 4- to 5-hour block from a 3 to 5 PM pickup.
